No other God's before me!

So many men make God's of people and things, people who call themselves Christians also do this. There are some people I talk to and during the whole 20 or 30 min conversation, all they did was glorify their Pastor or church, they went on and on saying, my pastor this and my pastor that or my church has this program etc.

Never once did I hear, my Jesus did this for me, the Bible says this, my heavenly Father alone is worthy of all praise. Jesus said call no man here on earth good, for there is only one good, the Father in Heaven. The Bible says the heart of man is above all else deceitfully wicked and goes on to say, do not put your trust in man for man will let you down.

Do not praise any man, he is only a man, with a mans heart. So many people I have talked with seem to not be able to function with just God, they have to always be having some person in their life to worship and sing their praise about, Jesus alone is not good enough to make them happy, they can only be happy if they have a pastor they can boast about, or a relationship they can leech on, wow! God said, "you shall have no other God's before me" what part of that don't we understand?
