Holiness does not secure immunity from disease

Important to note!

Holiness does not secure immunity from disease. - Spurgeon

Note: by Leah Tillock

The mighty holy prophet Elisha had a disease he died from, but the Holy Ghost was so shut up in his holy bones, that when they dropped a dead man in his open grave, the dead man rose up alive!! Glory! The holiest people I know suffer the most here on earth, because they are on the front lines for God and they walk so close to Him in truth, the Bible promises that those who suffer with Christ will reign with Christ and great will be their reward in Heaven for it. Many who look upon them in glory will wish they had endured more for God themselves here on earth when they see the reward of those who suffered most.

2 Kings 13:14
Now Elisha was fallen sick of his sickness whereof he died. And Joash the king of Israel came down unto him, and wept over his face, and said, O my father, my father, the chariot of Israel, and the horsemen thereof.

2 Kings 13:21
And it came to pass, as they were burying a man, that, behold, they spied a band of men; and they cast the man into the sepulchre of Elisha: and when the man was let down, and touched the bones of Elisha, he revived, and stood up on his feet.
