Jewish communities decimated in eastern Ukraine
"The pharmacy shelves are empty. There is no insulin to be found for an elderly diabetic woman. The call goes out through the chain of Hesed branches and soon the woman receives her essential medication." Volunteers help with food and meds in small packets so they are not confiscated.
