Here is the latest update on baby Alfie (there some good news at the end, read whole statement here). The UK courts denied the parents rights to go to Italy to save their baby. Socialized medical care the medical panels and courts decide your fate in the UK. The medical panel was so eager to pull Alfie's plug to kill him instead of letting the parents take him for help, they said he would die within a hour. They were wrong! They pulled the plug and he continued to breath on his own, For hours the medical staff denied him water and medicine till there was such a outcry from the public they had to give him food and water and meds. It has been 3 days now and Afie is still breathing on his own. The parents are battling the court to bring their baby home, the panels still want to kill him, but now that he is not on support, it will be harder for them to pull that off. Italy offered all payments for them to bring the baby and because Italy gave them citizenship, Italy is saying if the baby dies they are suing the UK for killing one of their citizens by refusing the child medical help from Italy. The good news is Alfie is miraculously living. Keep praying he gets help and pray the outrage changes these death panels is the UK.
