Tyson Foods invests in Protix, plans to build insect-ingredients plant: Tyson Foods has invested in insect-protein supplier Protix and plans to build a US production facility to serve the pet-food market.
Be warned, several major food labels are planning to go with powered insects to add to their products to save money, since the government ok'd it. Be a label reader. Pic below of the names of different powered insects that will be going in products.
