As death toll rises from massive winter storm, Biden heads to the tropics: BUFFALO, N.Y. — At least 50 people have perished as a result of the massive winter storm that moved through various northern states during the Christmas weekend with Buffalo New York being one of the worst hit. Authorities there say at least 35 people died...many of them freezing to death in cars, homes and snowbanks.
