To the hurting this Thanksgiving. To those who are finding it
beyond difficult to put a meal on the table and there's no one to help
them. To those who are really sick and people only throw band aids at
them, they don't stay around to actually minister all the way. To
the vets who are still paying the price for our freedom with pain,
poverty or trauma. To the elderly whose family will not take them in and
support them. To people whose once partners either in marriage,
business or ministry could never remain faithful to save their lives. To
those who's eyes are opened to the evil around them and only want to
save people from it, yet most will not listen. To those who go from
tragedy to tragedy. To those who see the ones they love are only self
absorbed. To those who need love. . . there is Jesus.
Jesus
said in this world you would have tribulations, that the rain would
fall on the just and the unjust alike. But, He promised (gave His word
and signed on the dotted line by His sacrifice on the cross) He would
be with you through them, that He would never leave you or forsake you,
that He would comfort and help you through. The greatest thing we have
to be thankful for if we have nothing else in life, we have this . . .
as believers in Christ we will never know an eternity in the Lake of
Fire. Christ has saved us from Hell and the Lake of Fire! He promised us
that we would live with Him in Heaven, His Father's house, paradise
forever.
He also said we would be rewarded
for enduring to the end. What ever your plight this Thanksgiving, you
can be deliriously happy that you will never know an eternal hell thanks
to Jesus. You can also make a goal of praying and witnessing if you can
to those who don't know Christ yet. God has given us eternal life, His
love and comfort and a grand purpose in life. Seek God in prayer today,
He will carry you through. Happy Thanksgiving my friend. - Leah - ATN World News
