Do not be ashamed of your scars. They show proof of the times satan fought hard to take your soul and lost because you stood firm with Christ! I read in a book once that someone supposed when you get to Heaven one of the first questions the angels will ask you is, "Where are your scars"? The Bible tells us to rejoice if we are a partaker of Christ's suffering for great is our reward in Heaven.
