(My Interview with Jeremy) For The Love of Marbles - New Film by Jeremy Maupin

Hi everyone, Here is my recent interview with Jeremy Maupin a film producer who is currently filming a movie/documentary called: "For the love of marbles". You can watch my interview with Jeremy by clicking this link - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tDY4ckw5m98 I encourage you to click the link and check it out. (Will explain below)

I have started a new side channel called, "Marble Time". Let me explain why. About a year ago, my chronic pain level had risen. It had been worse ever since the time I was in the hospital for a week. With the personal pain and everything else that is going on in the world, I felt I needed to add a hobby to my life, something that would be lovely. I prayed about it and a few days later I felt God spoke to me, I heard a word, it was "Marbles". I had always loved glass art. I had a dream I was picking up diamonds off the ground and they were free. That dream truly came to pass.

I went online and studied a lot about Marble ID, the companies, the categories, the price worth. Marble collectors are called marble investors because the price always goes up on certain marbles. I saw marble dealers online, but then I saw antique dealers online. Many of the antique dealers did not care to look up the value of their marbles. I suppose they got it really cheap from a yard sale where someone sells grandpa's marbles, etc. Their focus was more on their larger antiques for sale. I found several well sought after marbles that were expensive being sold for pennies on the dollar. So, for pennies on the dollar it was like getting it for free almost. You can have a budget of $5 a month and still walk away with some real vintage and antique winners, if you search, which is good for me since I have no money but one small monthly check.

I also found out that many therapists are suggesting to people to buy some marbles and get into the hobby, marbles are a complex hobby. There are so many variations and then there is the searching and then there are the marble groups like the ones here on Facebook and other social sites. There is even a Marble ID group to help people ID their marbles if they are not sure what they are.

After your work and all you need to do for the day is done. God has given good gifts for His children. Having a Marble Time for a while is an awesome thing. Like a recess from the work to refresh you. I think Marbles are a God thing. He created our world a beautiful blue marble. Anyway, I am just hoping to share a little pleasant diversion to people who are needing a break. I will be sharing some pics soon of some of my collection this past year and if anyone would like to join me in this hobby or has questions, just inbox me on one of the social sites you follow me on. If you can, please do click the "subscribe button" on this new channel Marble time, just starting out and will need more subs. Also, Jeremy is still receiving funds to finish his film. You can find his page on FB under, "For the love of marbles". Please feel free to send me your marble pics. I love seeing what other people's tastes are in marbles.
